Body Treatments and Procedures
Unlike the face, the body is not always ‘on show’. Well, not quite so. It depends upon the clothing we wear, which can reveal localized fullnesses in shape that we would prefer to not be evident. This often leads us to disguise our shape with shapeless clothing, rather than what is the current fashion. Our shape is determined principally by our genes. We are captive to our inheritance. These body shape problems are ideally addressed by liposuction/‘liposculpture’, the most common cosmetic procedure for women since 1986.
Then again, some are self-conscious by what they perceive to be a lack of fullness in the upper body, more specifically and commonly in the breast area. Although the genes play a large part here, there are other important factors such as pregnancy, lactation and excessive weight gain followed by loss that can influence the appearance.
Breast enlargement through a fine and virtually undetectable scar in a crease in the armpit is chosen by some women to overcome this concern
