So-called hair treatments for hair loss.
It never ceases to amaze me the number and variety of advertised so-called hair treatments that are available for male pattern baldness (a condition which is also shared by a small proportion of women).
Over the years there have been claims for a never-ending number of lotions and potions, none of which have stood the test of time. These claims play on the anxiety of a group of vulnerable men whose attitude is often is that they are so desperate that they’re willing to try anything.
One of the newer so-called treatments on offer (that in fact has been about for some years) is the use of a ‘do it yourself’ laser device.
If any treatment were of any real value every magazine and newspaper would be extolling its virtues and baldness would be a thing of the past. Strange that it hasn’t yet happened…
